When your problems feel too overwhelming to work through on your own, too complicated, or you prefer not to share them with those close to you, talking to a professional counsellor provides a safe, supportive, confidential, and non-judgmental environment for you to explore your concerns and develop strategies to manage your situation.

For your convenience, Grand-Jour-nez now offers telephone and on-line counselling for those who are time poor and seek someone to talk to. You may need to talk through emotional conflict, family and relationship issues, need one-on-one support, or discuss life-work balance etc. Our shared conversation is healing, because it is focused on you and what has happened, and what can be helpful right now, and in the future. All you need is a telephone, or computer and an internet connection if using Skype.

Face-to-face counselling continues to be available. Grand-Jour-nez approach then can be based on investigating your life, through writing your life story and by developing your observation skills. This technique assists the individual to gain an understanding of self, experiences, events and encounters. One's life experience can be a reservoir of insight, a powerful motivator and an integrating influence.

My role as counsellor is to be a trusted confidant ready to help awaken an impulse for self-understanding and development and to promote a determination to do things differently if and when necessary.
