This was followed by Alex Bowen Carpets in Kingsford in 1987 and then later, in 1999, the family business welcomed the Mascot store. Alex Bowen Carpet was re-named Bowen Carpets in 2013 as a family run business which now includes Alex’s son Lee, and his daughter Clara.
