| Children Cheerleading and Gymnastics Classes Melbourne CBD Fitzroy Victoria
Australian Cheerleading is a successful cheerleading club specializing in children and adult cheerleading. We currently offer classes for 7-11yr olds and 12-18yr olds. ACG (Australian Cheerleading Gym) is the closest Cheerleading gym to Melbourne's CBD, located at 3D-433 Smith St, Fitzroy VIC, 3065. It’s right at the end of the Eastern Freeway it is very easy to access with loads of parking. Our coaches are world level, and our teams are highly competitive, although we do have a recreational team that is all ages. Please check out our website for pics and videos to see what we're about.
Owned by Stephanie and Eddie Davey, athletes that were trained in Canada by some of the best Canadian and American coaches, claiming 6 National titles from both the USA and Canada. Stephanie and Eddie have both competed in Outlaws, Australia’s premier coed team, winning Australian Nationals in 2010. Stephanie went on to compete at the 2011 Cheerleading World Championship in Florida and received another Australian national championship, and a WORLD silver medal for her performance with the Australian Dream Girls. Currently Eddie and Stephanie have been selected independently to represent Team Australia in the Stunt Competition at the 2012 ICU World Cheerleading Championships, a huge honor for these athletes and gym owners.
Our coaching is professional and efficient. The ACG Family (Southern Cross All Stars, La Trobe University Eagles, RMIT University Redbacks and Glitz Gymnastics) brings out some of the best international coaches and choreographers. As a result we have never placed below 2nd place at any Australian National Championship. Currently the ACG Family holds 6 National titles, and one of our university squads won a bid to go to the 2013 University World Championships in Florida.
Southern Cross Cheerleading is our All Star program for children. We are starting a new program out of our Fitzroy Gym. Last year we started with 25 girls had no cheerleading experience, after only 1 year we managed to take home some impressive titles, all of our Cheer and Stunt routines placed in the top 3 at every competition we entered. Take advantage of our amazing facility and coaches. We have a massive, wall to wall sprung floor, that is 9mats (14m) wide, perfect for getting ready for competition, two 12m tumble tracks and a 2.5m incline track. With this equipment we can safely and quickly progress your child’s skills.
