Addrock is owned and operated by Roland Otte,Rolly is my nickname.I have been in the bisiness of earthmoving for twenty one years but was already learningto drive tractors on the farm as a kid whenI was about 3 years old.I used to drive the dozer by myself when I was about ten years of age dragging logs down to the sawmill.
My first machine that I owned was a john deere backhoe going on to a 15ton kato excavator and a mack tipper truck.Since then I have had many machines including caterpillar and komatsu excavators,dozers and tippers.
I still have a few now and I use them to build rockwalls,shape and landscape sites for customers.Another part of my bisiness is the supply of rocks for the projects ,whether its a retaining wall or a couple of feature stones for the garden,even stonemasons buy it from me.Also my prices are very reasonable.
The stone That I use for building mainly comes from the tweed valley in northern new south wales .It is actually part of a volcanic area millions of years ago.I also mostly dig the rocks out of the ground so they are much harder and not so brittle as the ones of the surface.They range in size from hand size to over 1.5 meters in diameter depending on the job size.These jobs can vary from enlarging flat areas to rocking waterways,to creekbank and river revetment jobs through to seawalls.Also house blocks in subdivisions are done with retaining walls.
Terracing filling and compacting the earth is also part of the process.I also enjoy constructing paths and tracks for walking on and to drive the mower or buggy on.I normally shape them up after stripping off the grass then gravel up.
I am also good at clearing ,building dams and basically any type of earthmoving.Tight access is also something that I focus on working under houses doing a digout or building a wall up the side of a house is not a problem,you just need the right machine for the job.I also have access to a large selection of gravels,soils and sand.I mainly do jobs in the brisbane area and the gold coast and tweed valley also byron ,lismore and kyogle shire.
I am willing to travel further for work especially if you need a good operater with or without machines and maerial,am licenced to build walls in N.S.W and queensland.I hope you give me a chance to quote on your next project.
