The Junction Motel is a clean, value for money 30 room, Motel and Dining room / Lounge situated in the picturesque town of New Norfolk, the gateway to the West Coast and Wilderness National Parks, and just 30 minutes from Tasmania's capital city - Hobart or what the locals call Slobart. Also only 15 minutes away from the much controversial Mona Museum of Old and New Art at Moorilla Estate Vineyard (opens Jan 2011) Rates start from $88 winter-$99 summer for a standard double. We pride ourselves on our exceptional service and Clean fresh rooms with "MattressKleen" Asthma and Allergy Friendly Sanitised mattresses, with various accommodation options for Groups or the single traveller to families of four.
The Restaurant is open Monday - Friday for Breakfast and Dinner.
Saturdays by pre organised group bookings only.
For Breakfast you have the choice of the "Continental Breakfast Buffett" ( juices,various cereals, yoghurts, fruit -fresh and preserved,selection of breads for toasting ,crossiants, muffins and tea/coffee) great value at $12.50 per person or Cooked to order - Hot Breakfasts from eggs and bacon with bits, omelettes, pancakes and fresh fruit plates etc.
Dinner is served from 6.00pm till 7.45pm and is a casual feel- serving local, fresh and value for money dishes prepared by the owner chef Tim
Sorry but Dinner is for House Guests and pre organised functions Only
The Junction can also cater any events whether it be a conference, wedding, boutique picnic or large 'fab' party in our Restaurant (max 50 guests seated- 90 stand up with few lounges etc) or off premises as required.
